A fruitful century
Rarely in the history of farming in Canada has there been such a combination of circumstances, all favouring an organization and the structure of an organization. . . . If we were going to have a war, we sure as hell had it at the right time for the creation of B.C. Tree Fruits. If we were going to have all those post-war restrictions and controls, they just played into our hands. . . .
