‘Ag on the Agenda’ is your opportunity to learn where local election candidates stand on the issues that matter to agriculture. We asked candidates to share their perspectives on key challenges and opportunities facing growers and the agricultural community. Explore their responses below to learn more about their priorities and positions ahead of the 2026 local elections.
The BCFGA circulated a 3-question survey to candidates in all tree-fruit and wine grape growing regions. Candidates were limited to 350 character responses (about 50 words). Candidates had from September 16 to October 1, 2026 to submit their responses.
Advanced voting day is October 7. General voting day is October 17.
