February 21, 2012 NEWS RELEASE: BC Fruit Growers React to the 2012 BC Budget
February 21, 2012 (Victoria) – The BC Fruit Growers’ Association react to the lack of agriculture assistance in yesterday's provincial budget. The BC budget did not make improvements to the agriculture budget, as hoped for by the BCFGA. The BC agriculture budget is already the lowest in Canada, in terms of percentage of the sector's economic output, also called Gross Domestic Output.
