January 30, 2012 NEWS RELEASE: BCFGA Welcomes New Executive Members
Kelowna, BC – On Friday, January 27th, 2012, members of the BC Fruit Growers’ Association held their 123rd Annual General Meeting where they got to vote for the 2012 BCFGA Executive. “One of the most important issues for the coming year is the on-going drop in growers’ revenue due to falling apple prices,” said Kirpal Boparai, the newly-elected President of the Association. “The new Executive team and I pledge to remain united in our efforts, and I am pleased to preside over a strong, motivated and capable Executive.”
