March 7, 2011 MEDIA ADVISORY: BIGGER & BETTER 1st Annual BC Tree Fruit Horticultural SymposiumThe year 2011 will celebrate a first for the BC tree fruit industry. The BC Fruit Growers’ Association had joined forces with the Okanagan Packinghouse Fieldmen’s Group to create the 1st Annual BC Tree Fruit Horticultural Symposium. This joint event will provide growers with new opportunities and rewarding experiences through a bigger and better tradeshow and valuable workshops and presentations from guest speakers. Growers will get the chance to exchange views on research and innovation, on-farm practices, crop protection, the sterile insect release program, new products on the market, and much more.
